NAVAIR will Use MobileSmith to Deliver Mobile Apps for the U.S. Navy

NAVAIR will use MobileSmith to build mobile apps for U.S. NavyMobileSmith has signed an agreement with the Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) to provide the MobileSmith app development platform and services to NAVAIR in order to accelerate the Command’s mobile application strategy.

The agreement will empower NAVAIR to rapidly design, build, launch, and securely manage unlimited native iOS and Android applications that meet the needs of the U.S. Navy stakeholders.

The MobileSmith Platform will enable NAVAIR to substantially reduce the cost of its mobile strategy, while delivering optimized mobile user experience and a quicker time to market.

As a customer of MobileSmith, NAVAIR can take advantage of an enterprise-class cloud solution for app development and management, packed with sophisticated features, such as:

  • Quick and easy native app prototyping and over-the-air delivery;
  • Platform Extensions allowing app creators to embed custom native or HTML5 functionality;
  • Secure data integration scenarios;
  • Role-based CMS access for easy app management;
  • Seamless app upgrades without disrupting the end user experience.

NAVAIR will be running a dedicated instance of the MobileSmith platform in its own private cloud.
